DRAWINGS, INFINITIES and ETERNITIES
Vision
Sheets of paper, different colors, a pen and some ink: these are the tools, few and essential, needed to trace, not a line that leads me from here, now that I am setting down these words in September, but rather the emergence, beyond such a line (because as a line, I imagine, that is, as I see it and predict it in its totality, as a unit), with those peaks which identify this apparently fluid and inexorable flowing of time.
What remains, because it has never been nor will it ever be, is an indefinite number of drawings that render whole what appears as such, or truly the time spent in producing them, not so much for their existential temporal linearity, but more for the appearance from the vortex of infinity and eternity of those vertices which the drawings are an expression of.
